I think your master compressor ruins your sound now. Listen the moment when drums come in around 1.30. It feels that the level of guitar drops down 6db.

I would try to mute it altogether. I’m sure that the real sound of your mix comes nicely after that.

Having a listen to version 1 and 2 .
version 2 sound much better and less compressed ,can hear some low frequencies clashing could be the kick and bass ,the kick may need to come down around the 80-150 hz area to give the bass some room or vice versa ?
Some thoughts while having a listen.

Cheers Big Grin

I love how the band comes in after the vox intro....nice and powerful. Good job with panning and levels overall.

The only thing that I'm noticing is how bright/papery sounding the snare is... Is it a sample..or maybe you've blended too much snaredown mic?

The tambourine and crash cymbals are there to inject brightness and contrast into the drum arrangement. Having a bright snare makes its all sound bright all the time and eventually fatiguing by the end of the track because you've removed the high end contrast.

cheers, Simon (this is for v2)
Be fierce in your encouragement, kind in your criticism and try and remember that the art of a good critique is not to make someone else's mix sound like yours...but to help the mixer realize their own vision.
