Milk Cow Blues
#1
Heey everyone,

It's been a while since I uploaded my last mix, because I'm very busy learning for my final exams at the moment.
But here it is: another try to mix a song. I still don't have decent studio monitors (at the moment I'm using some old passive Sony three-way speakers), but I think I know how they translate to the real world.
Anyway, I hope you guys can give me some feedback so I can continue learning.

Greetings

I like your mix. Very clear and balanced.

Drums are maybe too loud for old time country, but for some reason it don't bother me. Snare is maybe too "stereo". Other instruments and vocals are nicely in their places but snare is everywhere.

But anyway, very good job. You made them sound like a band.

Very nice! You are a good example of what one can do with imperfect monitors by knowing how good mixes should sound in them.[/i]
To mix or not to mix ... mix!
