My first mix on CMT

Kind of a newb. My second mix using Pro Tools. I've done alot of writing and producing but not a lot of mixing.

I left the timing issues alone since I am still not familiar with an efficient way to fix them in Pro Tools. I did fix some clicks I heard in the mix. Distortion maybe?

Would love to import into Ableton and fix the timing issues and do some subtle sound design.

Any criticism is welcome. Need to learn.

Hi not too bad for a newbie, I would say that your snare is too prominent in the mix and too much ringing on it,try lowering it and keep on at it:-).

Tanks Cudjue!! Getting balances is always a challenge for me. Funny though, I initially had the snare further down in the mix but raised it thinking it needed more prominance.
Should have followed my first instincts!
