Benjamin John - Better Way
#1
Here's my mix. I guess that everybody mixing this song had to deal with those ear piercing sibilants...Smile

Lovely mix Juan I like it .
I need to work on the sibilance in my next mix.
I can hear subtle some boxy sounding frequencies on the vocal at around 250hz and 500 area which may be being enhanced by effects but not a big deal mainly personal taste.
Great Job Big Grin !

yes, I think you're right about those frequencies on the vocal. The sibilance here is a good exercise that always comes in handy for future mixes! I'm glad you like the mix. I will check on your mix tomorrow when I'm home. Thank you for your comments Smile

Nice separation

Overall sound is pretty good to my ears.

In vox there’s some sort of honkyness. Reverb is maybe emphasising it.

thank you for your comments, Olli! yes, around 1,7 khz there was some annoying sound on the lead vocal. I've applied a dynamic EQ plugin to tame that frequency and also the one that Don pointed out Big Grin
