Haven't been around in here much. Still mixing but since I haven't had time to properly review other people's mixes I don't feel right asking for feedback on mine. However, I do promise that anyone who gives opinion on this one I will review your mix of it (if you've done one

I just had to share this. It's such an odd little song. The music is so uplifting and peppy, but the lyrics are so sad. When I listened to it all the way through the first time after I mixed it I was bopping along for the first half and had tears in my eyes at the end.

) so I ditched it and added an artificial ambience slapback. I actually preferred the sound of the kick the way it was but since the artist obviously wanted that ambience on the kick enough to record a separate track for it I decided to put it in.
