Hey, I can hear some strange peak on a snare drum - it is distracting. Is it sample or strange eq settings?

Hi konop_tnt, thanks for comment!

Yes, there is a peak in snare drum, I don't know why that track changes a lot its sound during the song, I think it was bad recorded. I tried reduce that peak by using a deesser and adjusting the frequency - I reduced it considerably but it still sounds bad.

I know the best way to get a good snare is by replacing it, but I wanted to see what I could do with those tracks.

It is constant frequency, maybe you can reduce it with eq. Snare is not tuned to the key of a song, and that,s why is so distracting. It's not your fault, you can only fix recording mistakesWink
