Hello all,
This track was a lot of fun to mix. Not a very long track or even a very large batch of files, but a huge sound! I used my "live room" (garage) to play the tracks back and then capture the room with a stereo room mic configuration. More for my own enjoyment rather than necessity--I could have achieved the "larger room-y" sound I wanted with impulse loaders or reverbs.
Master bus: ReaEq (tidy up some tiring frequencies) -> Slate VCC -> Waves S1 (slightly wider) -> Waves L1
I purposely left a lot of dynamic range in this mix, so use that volume knob if you need too!
Best,
mgetz
