Hi all,

I have just discovered this fantastic website a few days ago, and i decided to upload my first attempt to mix this track.
Great way to improve techniques, and try new ones...

Any comment would be more than welcome.

Hi mate sounds great,maybe a little heavy in bottom end with the bass guitar and I'd add some mid range in mastering a little.

Yeah.. i also think the bass might be a bit on top... also, good observation on the mid range..

Sounds nice, but yeah just like what jade said, the bass is too heavy the kicks couldn't punch through too.

The balance here sounds pretty good. Vocals could be a little clearer in places. Base might be a tad tighter. There are also a lot of interesting fills in this track that can be brought up with automation at various points in between the vocal phrases.

It really got me thinking in places that this mix could be improved, that I didn't see before.

I didn't add any automation, as i though that that's next level of mixing.. But it can be a really powerful skill to master.
Def i will start using it more often than not for the coming mixes..
