I like the smoothnes of your mix. And ongoing groove. Nice creative ideas.

Vocal effects: nice idea, but in the end I found them disturbing. Somehow I started to wait for next effect, and stopped listen the music.

Glad you had fun with the song, Mick!
I'd have to agree with Olli above, the vocal effects are cool, but a little overused IMHO.
The flanger on the rhodes is also a bit strong, and the acoustic guitars are a bit wet.
The horns have a short sustain that could have been enhanced.
All taste related, of course, apart from that, you mix sounds pretty balance and is grooving nicely. Good job! Smile

Thanks guys, appreciate the feedback. There certainly is a fine line with regards to creative mixing and it shows the importance of perspective via other sets of ears! I've just uploaded version 2 and implemented some of your suggestions, which I think has resulted in a more subtle, natural tone. Thanks again for listening Smile
