What a song! I hadn't listened to any versions of this track until now.
I'm definitely going to work on this one.

You have a lovely balance in this mix, Martin. You also have a good ear for ballads, it seems
Nice use of little delays and reverb - this is the kind of song that just begs to be drowned in a rich wash of reverb
The only suggestions I can make is to maybe get the piano a little bit brighter, or a bit less emphasis on the lower mids to make them a bit more 'magic'.
Also there's a really low sub frequency under the kick that sounds a bit flabby, most obvious in the section around 1:10. Let the bass take charge of the low end with this kind of song, and let the kick be more of a 'thump' than an 'ooomph'.

thanks for your tipps! Yes, the low end is something I need to work on. I think the acoustic my studio is not so good fpr low end...as many otcher homestudios...
