So, here is my mix.
I tried to keep everything pretty raw and the vocals a bit buried, in keeping with the genre.
The main departure from the reference mix was I didn't go for hard L/R on the guitars, I gave the lead melody part a panned slap echo and kept the slide guitar straight in the middle.
I did consider thinning out the arrangement a bit in places, but decided to stick to my job as mix engineer, rather than play at producer
