Hi all!
Quite happy with this mix. I'm a bit uncertain if it lacks mid frequencies or if the vocals are a bit too quiet or loud at times. Also during the breaks when the lead vocal is on by itself, I think the vocals' compressor is clashing with the compressor on master bus creating some nasty low-mid frequencies.
Do you have any gripes about the mix? Feel free to also point out the most minor things you come up with, those interest me the most! Thank you :)
After purchasing the C6 multiband compressor & Vitamin sonic enhancer from Waves' summer sale, I tried them out by mixing this song. So far, I'm liking them a lot! After I was done with the mix I got Stillwell's Event Horizon limiter for mastering. That plugin is a steal: It costed only about 45€ AND I thought it sounded better then the all mighty Waves L1 which I also considered.
