Much Too Much (Digital & Analog Tape Bouces)
#1
Hi Everyone! Here is my mix of this song. For those who are interested, I made different bounces from the same mix. Digital from the DAW, and three differents tape bounce (made on a Studer A80, Lavry Converters), at 320 nW/m, 510 nW/m calibrations, where you can clearly hear compression due to tape saturation, and at last, a 320 nW/m version using Dolby SR noise reduction.
I'm glad for sharing, I hope you can enjoy it (if you like it) and I will be really grateful for any comments/question about my mix. Thanks in advance!

They all sound great (the digital bass sounds a little anemic, but I'm not really surprised by it) but your low end on the 510 nW/m calibrated version sounds the best. The bass is round and not poking out in the midrange, like in the digital render.

Thank you so much for showing the differences and letting all of us who do not have access to a Studer know what we're missing out on!:-P

Thanks again!
