Bruks - Kak tvoi dela, Vova?
#1
Here's my mix. This has been fun because not only I have had the chance to mix a song I like, but also because I've been listening to Russian language which I've been studying for ten years now Big Grin

Comments and advice for improvement will be welcomed as usual!!

PS: the title means 'how are you, Vova?" if you're curious about what it means Smile

Some quick notes.

You’ll have a very nice mix out of these soon. Overall balance is very nice.

Also overall sound is nice, but is it too nice. Maybe there should be a little more edge or attitude somewhere. It can be a compressor somewhere, or edge to guitar or something. Your choice Smile

Voice sounds good, but some words here and there disappear slightly into muddiness. As if the singer is turning a head to read words. THe probelm can be cause by some other track if it’s masking the words.

In the arrangement there’s quite often a empty space after snare hit. It might work if the snare has slightly longer tail to fill that space. For example in the opening you could automate plate.

Low end of piano is humming slightly in my left ear in those kaktvatizola parts.
