My idea of this song. I had a lot of fun mixing it even though the saxophone troubled me a bit to get it smooth. Any comments?

In the opening it feels to me that band is behind a thick smoke. But later the sound opens. For example around 2.00. And there the sound is very nice. Maybe the culprit for that distance effect is the saxophone that doesn’t have so good focus at the moment. Maybe you made it too smooth.

Good mix, a little louder vocal would sound better. Which reverb do you use (it sounds so natural and pleasing), room mics or plugin ?

Thank you for your comments. I'll try to make another mix considering Olli's comment. If I can remember correctly I used mainly the room mikes. I even based a lot of the mix on them, using the other tracks mainly as spot mikes. I put some reverb on the master though usimg Reverence (built in reverb of cubase 5)
