Hi Thanks for mixing the track ! One thing that stood out for me was the chorus guitar - I liked how you kept it prominent, as it was the original riff for the song.

I liked the drums and bass - possible the snare is not always hitting a compressor threshold? The occasional hit here and there seems to get a little buried.

The vocal tone felt a little on the bright side to me - maybe an opportunity there.

I agree about vox brightness. I had notched out some resonance in lower mids and and rebalanced with a bit of warmth.....but maybe not enough....maybe I added too much air too. I'll dive in and have a look.

New version, 1.1.

Modify lead vox EQ to add bit more warmth. Had a look at snare hits. I think its more EQ masking than compression. When I replace suspect hits with "louder" ones it doesn't really make much difference.
