Allen Stone - Naturally
#1
Besides being a well produced and wonderfully performed piece, it is a very sensitive social commentary by Mr. Stone. His lyrics in this song are beautiful and touching so I did my best to support that.

I had published this to my Soundcloud content several years ago and it has become by far, my most liked mix there. The submission here has been remastered for .mp3.

Thanks so much for the good words. I did do a lot to the BGV since I felt they were a very important part of the message the song is trying to convey. Almost like they are the audience the song speaks to.

Doubt it would be remixed, but the vocals could definitely come up and be dessed as well.

Lead vocals. Backgrounds really pop out from how they are processed, but the lead vocal get buried pretty easily when the backgrounds come in. And throughout the rest of the mix it kind of losses focuses here and there.

That was on purpose.

Hi i like the FX on the backgrounds...gives them an out of speaker type of feel...maybe drop em down a db or two but that's my personal taste...the lead vocal reverb space is good plus instrument separation works

Great job
