Dont let go - Voelund
#10
Well, whenever I see something in here by you, Voelund, I know I'm in for a treat.

And I was. Big Grin

Y'know, when I first heard that reverb on the vocal I didn't think I'd like it, but once I started to hear it immersed in the song I realized I was wrong; it works beautifully here. It has that classic 60s/70s feel that's so nostalgic for me in my childhood. And I agree with Olli H about the doubled vocals; nice! One irony. I'm usually the guy who goes subtle on the reverbs, but here you're the one who did the subtle reverb thing while in my mix (which you'll find posted here if you want to give it a listen) I went for big, open reverbs. Just goes to show how a given project can often draw a mixer in a direction he or she doesn't ordinarily go. Wink

About the only quibbles I have are the acoustic guitar on the left is a little on the loud side, and there are a series of distracting clicks at the end during the final fade out.

Aside from normalizing it so the loudest peak hits 0 dBFS, I would keep it "unmastered;" it sounds beautiful just the way it is. Cool
