Hi Prayers - thanks for mixing the track!
Some comments:
- nice overall mix vision
- the bass guitar is working my sub a bit hard - worth checking out
- the tremolo guitar is pushed back after chorus 1
- cymbals are pretty high in the balance
- limiter on master bus seems to be hurting your mix dynamics to my ear. Possible?
- like the guitar lead part in the middle of the song
- nice bring down of the dynamics for the quiet section
Thanks again - my biggest feedback points will be the bass guitar and what sounds like heavy limiting on your master bus. If it is helpful to you, Mike Senior has some strategies for this mix (and the bass) in the March 2015 Mix Rescue column of Sound on Sound and it can be found for free online. It is worth checking out.
