I've known a few...
This was fun. The playing is a little sloppy in places but the feel is good and while I could have cleaned that up, I didn't waste the energy here.
What was odd was the lack of energy in the recorded drums which required a lot of attention in order to bring the kit up to the excitement the rest of the tracks held. The cymbals were odd and cut off at times. I did end up with a snare sound I really like.
I played around with some arrangement ideas and may still add another idea to the front of the chart. I opted for a fade on this as the ending guitar riff seemed out of character for what I was intending.
I re-amped the bass and added a distortion stomp box for some added character. The timing for this performance was not great in places.
I am expecting quite a few good takes on this track from the community and a lot have already been posted. Looking forward to hearing other takes.

I had promised a new arrangement and this is it. It took a while to complete because I was having an issue with moving tracks around in time and having my automation follow those moves. Still have a lot to learn about my DAW.
Smoothed out frequency content in the upper low end and clarified the kick drum. Fattened up the vocal and sparkled up the acoustics a touch. Dialed back the drive on the bass guitar as well. Hopefully I have assuaged the coherency critics out there with some of the changes. Tried hard to keep the bounce that is the signature of this song. The irreverence is a joy to me. Enjoy. Please.

Not leaving well enough alone and remixed and remastered this wall of sound into an enjoyable song. I hope you agree.
Comments always appreciated...
