My approach was to compress the miked track to bring up the guitar. Then added a high pass filter @ 150hz, -6db notch at 270Hz, +2.5db boost @ 2.6KHz to add clarity and a couple of db added at 7kHz. Added a splash of reverb and equal power panning L & R.
Accoustic guitar high pass filter @120Hz, -10db notch at 430Hz, - 10db notch @3.6kHz due to a bit buzz?? panned left 70% and room reverb.
Sax high pass at 300Hz as there is nothing below, -3db notch @445Hz and -6db @2.6kHz and room reverb.
Mix bus compression 2:1 to hold together, LKJB eq set to mastering +1 @ 160Hz, -2 @ 640Hz high boost of 7 at 40KHz and the channel strip high pass at 120Hz.
Finally a touch of tape saturation and limiter.
