I do understand what you're saying about the bass and I know its round and big, but it was a deliberate production call.

I think the bass tone is appropriate for this song after all its not metal or funk ect.., and doesn't need to be edgy or super defined.

Plus it works well in the chorus and towards the end when the fuzz distortion is implemented.

I referenced this mix with HS-5's and HS8S in the studio and then with Audio Technica M50, then in both my cars and then on a computer. All tests sound consistent and great.

You should give this song a try. Smile
