This is another grand execution by the folks at Telefunken.
With lots of mic options to chose from, this one was surprisingly easy to vet. I didn't try to do anything unusual with this mix as it laid itself out very nicely. I did struggle with the drums until I was able to gate all of the individual drum mics to corral leakage and ring which was poisoning the low end. The vocals on this song set the environment into which I placed everything. All I did for that was insert a room on the master buss and played with it until I found what I liked for the voices and everything else fell into place (at least for me).
