The drums sound a bit dense and the guitars could be a bit wider, it all seems a bit "monoish", you know what I mean?
But good job!

Hi Mate, thanks for the feedback, I thought the guitars were wide-ish until I started listening to some of the mixes on here Confused. I will re-visit on this and the drums I will too, I always seem to be keeping the kit under control , maybe need to let it breath a bit

again thanks for the feedback its much appreciated and by the way the tracks are of great quality and a lot easier than normal to EQ. Some of the mixes that get put up don't sound as well tracked

Memphis

Thanks, Memphis!

The drums were recorded in a professional studio with some hardware processing, that could be the reason why they are easier to mix than "normal" drums. Smile
I've used the sm7b for the vocals which in my opinion adds a lot of comfort to fit in vocals in a mix. You can look up the signal chains in the official release thread.
And yeah, let the drums breath a little. Someone said that compressors work like rubber bands. If you don't apply enough tension, they won't work; if you apply too much they aren't elastic anymore and don't work with the signal but against it. I have yet to learn a lot about compressors. It took literally months to mix the six song-EP, haha.

Cheers!
