Interesting, the mix reminds me of 'The Doors' ,they would mix with a bass drum on one side,snare on the other.Purely for mono (or out of phase speaker array) compatability it is usual to put all bass instruments (bass drum,bass guitar e.t.c.)in the middle of the 'virtual soundstage' otherwise phase cancellation can lead to it disappearing from the mix ,(as in the circumstances mentioned above. But it did sound good,I can't wait to hear more of your work .Mark
