Interesting panning strategy.....instruments seem a bit narrow but I think you've managed it well and it seems to work for you. Cool
Initially i thought your mix was a bit dry too but having listened to it a few times i think it works!

Be fierce in your encouragement, kind in your criticism and try and remember that the art of a good critique is not to make someone else's mix sound like yours...but to help the mixer realize their own vision.
