I don't think it's a bad mix. I believe most people are just not confident enough with their own skill level to comment.
The first thing I notice is like a slap back delay on the hi hats? To me it doesn't seem to fit with the rest of the kit. Kind of distracting during the solo.
I'm really digging the effect you used on the guitars though. And I think you nailed the snare. I'm curious, what reverb / delay do you have on the vocals? They're smooth.
