Triviul: 'Gimme' kapu mix
#3
Thanks. The lyrics felt like some kind ironic prayer where he is always asking for more, and the harmonies have that 16-17th century renaissance style all over them, so hence the 'church.' There is that chaotic build up part, where everything kind of mashes up, but I thought the main vocals are still intelligeble if one focuses, so I just left it that way. Probably should have done some automation there, although those filter sweeps are hard burned to the source tracks. In the end, after asking for 'everything' he asks for sense of creed and all for free, which is kind of humorous to me and the instrumentation (slightly detuned guitar, silly sounding keyboard) supports this, I thought I might add something there to further enhance the idea that it wasn't that serious after all, so the pitch fade.
