If you do a quick a/b with the video your mix definitely sounds different. Is it better? Is it worse? I don't know to be honest. As I said I´m not a huge fan of this genre and I don't have any expectations how a black metal song should sound. Guitars could be more upfront & aggressive with less mids if you want to get closer to the stuff I´ve posted. And maybe you should turn down the Overheads by 1-2 db or just automate them when they get too loud (at 0:24). Other then that I like your mix.

i heard those songs and i think i tried not to sound like them
anyone can try to sound like another records and it's very easy to duplicate
but about what i did,i think in MY opinion i was trying to sound different and make new sound and if i fail in it,it's ok Big Grin
