Yeah, I'm the same. I have a good idea of how I want things to sound, but am not always able to achieve it

I'm glad you liked this song, it's an unusual one for me as it actually came from the lyrics (I usually have music first), so this is a kind of 'songwriter-style' thing for me, and there was quite a lot of lyrics, which is why I didn't even add an instrumental guitar solo or something like that, because I thought it would be too long.
I hope you will like the next multitracks. I've provided 3 more (Mike chose the more 'jazzy' stuff from my soundcloud account), don't know exactly when Mike will publish them but hopefully soon.
I'm especially curious what people will do to 'A reason to leave' which my own take on hybrid jazz + rock.
