from my perspective, the mix seems to have some balance issues, mainly with the drums.
the hi-hat seems pulled very far to the right-speaker and has a very high volume compared to the rest.
The first thing I would do to fix the balance: Pull down the hi-hat, give the snare and kick some more, the bass as well,
then I'd pull down the vocals a bit, probably adding a compressor to the trio, to get the main vocal up when the rest is not singing.
But what is really surprising is the very deep subwoofer on the end "human"-line. It nearly knocked me of the chair, very creative and unexpected!
Keep it up, some beef, a bit more balancing and you're off to go!
Corrected some aspects of the kick and snare emphasizing and bass mix, combining the voices change and some keys.
hope you like my second attempt.
Skelpolu thanks for your criticism, I hope you like this new attempt, I think I understood that this style is about.
