I agree with you that v2 sounds cleaner. I think my perception of the mix changes after hearing it for so long. I always have a problem with over mixing things!  Maybe v4 is a little cleaner now

After listening V4, I still pick the V2 version as my choice.
Even having the rhythm guitar hard pan. is very upfront.
That causes, for me, that i can't feel the song properly
And i like more the naturally sounds of the orchestral instruments in the V2 mix.
