I only checked out Mix 2. It feels a little weird. Did you move some stuff around? The timings feel off.
The hard panned cymbals are distracting especially when everything else is essential in mono. It feels really compressed. There is something I like about that sound though maybe if it were parallel with an uncompressed mix bus. The low end might be a little out of control but I do like the overall tonal balance.
I think the mix could open up, breath more and have less focus on the cymbals. The timing is still off though.

It doesn't have to sound good. People just need to think it sounds good.
