Here`s my mix of this song. There was only a kick trigger track, so i had to do some drum replacement, the snare was dull and AWEFUL! i replaced it too. If you make the drums sound big, but not very heavy on the kick you are good to go. The rest is easy. Vocalz had some sibilance problems, but i didn`t wanted to lost the crispness. The whole thing was treated like a pop song, but with the vocals a bit deeper in the mix. There are no weird effects, only a telephone voice before the bridge.

It's good overall, but it would be great if you cut out the mud of the low end. It's kinda muddy, especially when palm muted riff guitars, bass, and kick, it's kinda cloudy and loss of definition and tightness, Imho.
And one more thing, if you lift it up the RMS level at mastering a lil bit would be awesome. It's outdated to talk about loudness war, indeed, but people still thought louder is better.
