Here is my mix...erm...remix of the song.

-Drums were 808 kick and analog claps. I used the clap sound in another mix and thought it would be great for this one.
-Very straightforward song. Synths, keys, bass, and strings all just needed a bit of light EQ and compression.
-Vocals were autotune to sweeten, then EQ and compression. No post effects. I think I hasve them a bit over the top but I'm not sure if it is way too over the top or not.
-Mastering was cleaning up some mud on the low end, a limiter and a stereo spacial...thing...I'm not really sure what it's called, but its great.

Hmm. If I'm honest it feels very small and compact. I'm not familiar with the original version so I don't know. I'll have to check it out but this feels like it could be a lot bigger.

The track is pretty compact. I had to double check a couple of times that the track was 2 minutes long.
