Chris93 Blue - Chris93 - 20-03-2015 This was a quick one, but that may means it's not finished. The kick was very "thumpy", I ended up using ReaXcomp to basically put a limiter on the low end, eq wasn't doing what I wanted. Chris RE: Chris93 Blue - ptalbot - 20-03-2015 Hey Chris, I think you managed perfectly with the kick, although I think its level could still go down a little bit. Great smooth ambience in this mix... Perhaps the vocals could go up a bit near the end when the toy piano is playing, it's slightly less present to my ears for whatever reasons. Apart from that, no much bad things to say, I like it, good job! RE: Chris93 Blue - Chris93 - 28-03-2015 Thanks Patrick, You're right, I normally finish mixes with a bit of automation but I usually like to get a second opinion on the overall sound before I do that. The reverb is "Jazz Chamber" from an MPX1, I don't think i edited it much. I sent most of the channels to it at different levels to keep everything together. Chris |
