Good one Ratmix! You gave it a cool space to live!
A few things I would change that could make it better:
- the Rhodes is very clean but has some sort of slapback delay that is pushing it in the back. I would make the delay more subtle and add a bit of grit to it.
- the tambourine during the guitar solo is very loud, while the guitar solo itself is quite low, I would make the tambourine more subtle and the guitar more present, during the last chorus the solo level is fine, so you might want to automate its level during the instrumental part only
- you didn't play with the "eyebrows" (see my notes on this here: http://discussion.cambridge-mt.com/showthread.php?tid=8728
Still, a good mix and with a few tweaks you'll be there. Good job!
