First mix ever - juliusxxrock - 12-03-2015 Hey! Just found out about this forum/community, cool stuff... Anyways, I'm kind of new to mixing and stuff, my goal is to gain much knowledge and use it to record with my band. I did a mix on "Daisy Daisy", which is my first mix ever. I appreciate all feedback! Thanks! RE: First mix ever - jeremias666 - 14-03-2015 The mix is ok, is not bad for a first mix. Drums could have less low mids mud, specially the snare. Gtrs lacks some power, maybe raising their level or give them more mids. Voice feels a little loud and lacks some sparkle it feels a little dull. RE: First mix ever - gurke - 12-11-2015 Yes, cut +/- 400 Hz and a bit more higher frequencies, hihat or cymbals especially. |
