Fool Mi Mezcla - Rommel production - 04-03-2015 aqui mi mescla Patrick Talbot -- 'Fool' RE: Fool Mi Mezcla - ptalbot - 05-03-2015 Hum... I think your mix is too washed up in reverb for the most part. Drums sound distant, rhythm guitar too, bgvs as well. So it's kind of lacking focus, like a tune that would be heard from next door. I would try to make a good balance first, fine tune the tones of each instruments and then perhaps use a simple room verb and send a little bit of the tracks to it, but don't overdo it. A little goes a long way. You went much too far there IMHO. Keep it up! RE: Fool Mi Mezcla - Rommel production - 05-03-2015 Gracias ptalbot seguire intentando amigo RE: Fool Mi Mezcla - Rommel production - 05-03-2015 Patrick Talbot fool RE: Fool Mi Mezcla - ptalbot - 06-03-2015 It's getting better now with a drier sound. I think there's some balance issues though, the lead guitar for example is so loud that it's masking a lot of the instrumentation underneath (in particular the drums kind of disappear during the guitar solo). The whole mix is quite compressed as well, how hard have you pushed the limiter on this? A little less would probably sound better, with more transient and dynamics coming through. You're getting there though, keep it up! |
