Don´t Let Go - Experimental Mix - Montuy - 27-02-2015

Hello everyone! Smile
Thanks for listening! The first time I heard this tracking it sounded like this in my head. So I decided to go for a "vintage" sound. I tried to present the song as if it was actually recorded in the 50´s or 60´s. Don´t know if I achieved that, but suggestions are most welcome! Enjoy! Big Grin

Amazing mix. I really feel the 60s vibe in it cause it sounds like the first stereo mixes where they pannned (was it on intention or by accident) drums on one side and bass on the other. If you want 50s vibe try more mids and mix and realese the thing in mono.

Thanks a million, Obelix! I really appreciate the kind words and the suggestions! I´ll try the 50s vibe Wink Just one thing, do you recommend to take a little bit of bass and treble out or boost the mids?
Thanks again for listening!

Take a bit of treble and do a gentle hi pass filter (6 dB per octave) at 50 Hz. And add a bunch of tape saturation. And release it in MONO.
