I think I prefer the last mix. This one is still nice, but perhaps too strong in the low-mid frequencies. I really like your work though Pyramid!

Hey, Yeah hearing it again now I see I could cut some of those freq. I was mixing this song with new toys but anyways that's not a excuse to get the mix right as it should Tongue

Definitely less rumbliness going on with that kick drum in particular, very nice. I'm inclined to agree with deeology79 about a bit of low-mid muddiness that could be cleaned out a little.

I prefer the lead guitar now, but is there un-amped DI getting into the mix? At the risk of being shot down in flames, the *only* place a raw electric guitar signal belongs is in a (mic'ed) guitar amp, or if you really have to, an amp simulator! Unless you're doing something really whacky and left-field maybe...
