my mix on Atrophy - Mandubien - 27-01-2015 Hello, Here's my take. It's good sometimes to have less than 20 tracks to mix But vocals were quite tricky to be kept consistent. So much volume during choruses ! I added some harmonies in the bridge, some light delays at the end of some sentences in the verses. Otherwise, nothing special. Mixed as usual with AKG K240 Studio headphones. I will get my monitors tomorrow or the day after. Can't wait RE: my mix on Atrophy - whoosh - 27-01-2015 Done pretty different from other mixes of this song I listened too but I do understand the choice to do so I like the fresh approach, I can imagine it would be tempting to make it drive on drum and bass. RE: my mix on Atrophy - Mandubien - 27-01-2015 Yeah, I tried to make it not too much aggressive. To me the keys are probably the most important instruments in this song. I tried to make them consistent all along, without making them too much in front. |
