The Butterfly Effect - An Ultra Violet Apology - whoosh - 16-01-2015

So here's my go at this song. Looking forward to your comments!

Woah! Wasn't expecting those guitar sounds. Quite bold going for that much chorus (and the reverb on the drums). It sounds pretty good on my headphones - nice rich sound, and well balanced - although personally, I'd go for less reverb on the snare. I'm also not convinced about the FX on the guitar motif that starts the song (and repeats at the end of every verse) - the very distinctive slightly fuzzy, roomy sound of that guitar is integral to the song, I think. The vocal at 3:50-ish onwards is too low in the mix - this is the climax of the song - the FX on the them work, though. Overall, nice work!

Thanks, yeah, I was wondering about the vocals during the climax. Definitely going to re-take a look at those.
I tried a couple of things on the drums and settled with how they are now, which is a bold move I agree Wink

Now as for the phasing on the intro guitar, that might indeed be a little too bold....
