Lament - Mix by Tommy Marcinek - tjmtruth - 13-01-2015

Confused

This was a heck of a challenge. How to approach this....hmmmmmm. Well, here's what I came up with. I took a different approach and did some audio part aligning but not too much. I also built it up a bit starting out with just a few instruments. I added a bass synth for bottom and sound replaced the drum. The Hurdy Gurdy's...well, they are a weird instrument indeed. I didn't like the sound of the one they had in the beginning. So I took a portion of one of the other Hurdy Gurdy tracks, looped the sound, and used THAT as the constant gurdy throughout (with the other gurdys in there but mixed kind of low). The song now has a kind of droning effect which I really like. It's a short song and it goes by fast.

Any questions/comments are welcomed.

Tom
