An Ultra Violet Apology- BlackArtAudio mix - BlackArtMixing - 03-01-2015

hey people. here is my go at it. i tuned the vocals a bit. anyone else? nothing too crazy going on, mix-wise. mixed in Reaper with UAD, fabfliter, soundtoys etc printing through my IGS stereo compressor and stereo tube eq. look forward to hear some comments.

Great eq and compression in the vocals, they sound very nice! A little bit too mid-rangy the overall mix for me, but that´s just personal taste. Congrats!

Sounds really nice. Love the drum sound, although they seem very slightly too high in the mix to me (listening on crappy headphones, though, so I could be wrong...). Wonder if there's a bit more you could do to increase the sense of build-up as the song develops?

I think your toms may be a bit heavy, but I think that's my biggest complaint. And it's mainly just the rack tom. Nice mix!

P.S. Always nice to see another Tool fan
