The approach I took was to attempt to capture the title of the song in the mix. Since it is an instrumental piece, it seemed appropriate to try and capture the artists intent. The tempo of the song seems a little upbeat for tears, so that makes it a little difficult. Classical guitar is the tears, that was easy. Snare, tambourine, & acoustics are the rain. Electric guitar provides a cloudy grey overcast day. Like I said, the tempo doesn't feel like tears, but maybe my mix will make you want to cry.
