Loud and Clear (Sano mix) - sano - 04-10-2014

My mix

RE: Loud and Clear (Sano mix) - Olli H - 05-10-2014

Sounds very good to me.

Small things came to my mind:
- bass sound is weird, but I still like it. It gives certain texture to the whole sound.
- I feel something is rumbling uncontrolled in the low-area. Maybe it's the same bass that I like?
- instrumental breaks could use more automation, just to bring up the focus point.

Agree with OlliH here -- something very uncontrolled at the low end. Are you using subharmonic synthesis of some type on the kick/bass? Whatever it is I think it's overkill on a track as uptempo as this. Makes it feel sluggish. The drums feels more upfront than many other instruments, which feels a bit odd. I'd try to rebalance things to pull that back a bit, and maybe add some effects for that reason too.
