Cruising the ice - HenriVlot - 29-11-2012 Hello everyone, This already is my second mix, this time an ambient/experimental song, although I approached the mix more as a post-rock kind of song when the guitar parts come in. What do you think? I'm still a noob, so please give me some feedback so I can improve my mixing skills (: Greetings RE: Cruising the ice - n3rd - 29-01-2013 Hi Henri. I liked space you placed orchestra in but I miss low end in whole song, some character in bass guitar and some kind of sub kick.... Beside that good job man, keep mixing. RE: Cruising the ice - HenriVlot - 30-01-2013 Heey n3rd, thanks for the reply. I can tell you, I learned a lot in these few months since I posted this mix. I did this in protools, but I'm now back to Reaper. Really enjoy the ease of use. Anyway, I think the low end is gone because of the mp3 converter I used back then. Didn't realize that you can just import a .wav in Audacity and can render it to mp3 . Maybe I'll do a remix in Reaper some day. |
