Enda Reilly - An Nasc Nua (Edwards Mix) - Edward - 29-07-2014

Interesting experience mixing something which I didn't understand.

As for the mix, I'm not sure on the bass I tried to get it to cut through by boosting some higher frequencies in the bass but I'm not sure that really worked as I feel its still sitting a bit to far back in the mix.

As always I would love to hear and opinions comment, criticism or advice you can give me on how to improve my mixing.

Thanks for taking the time to listen.

- Bass is too boomy and un-tight.
- Guitars sound is a bit distorted/over driven.
- Vocals go in and out, the lyrics are not intelligible at all times. The vocals are too dynamic...
+ Great panning.
+ Good preserved dynamics other than what I noted above.
+ I like the choice of reverb/or lack there of.
