Shore - Luis Diazz - 27-07-2014

Here is my mix of Shore. Tried to make sense of the guitars. Interesting song my first attempt at this style of music. Advise always welcome.

Hey Luis,

I think you've done a pretty good job on this track, especially if its out of your comfort zone.

The only thing that struck me is that the backing track is quite dark...There's a fair roll-off in the frequency spectrum from 2-10kHz. When the vox comes in that part of spectrum recovers and the whole mix lifts, especially during the choruses.

BTW, Did you edit the lead vox.?..the timing of the phrase "keep the sand on the shore" at around 0.48 sounds different, almost rushed
